Winter Guests - Additional Information
When visiting Escalante in the winter, keep in mind that many tourism-focused businesses operate on seasonal schedules or close entirely. For instance, while InnSpiration Escalante
remains available as a rental, a neighboring spot like Escalante Outfitters typically close their cafe for the season, though they sometimes maintain limited general store hours.
So your options for eating out, and buying gear, will be limited. However, Griffin Grocery is open through winter Mon-Sat. as is the Family Dollar Mon-Sun
For Dinner the 4th west pub is open Wed-Sat through til march then opens Mon-Sat

HEATER/WATER HEATER
Thermostat - The heater thermostat is on the wall in the ground floor hallway. Typically the upstairs will get warmer. There is a small space heater in the downstairs bedroom to help with this. Also, the heat vents in each room can be adjusted.
Outages - It’s possible that the pilot light can go out on the heater or water heater. If this happens or any questions arise regarding the property or the winter season contact the property manager Ethan Griffin at 5852365441 so he may assist.
SNOW
If there is snow, there is both a snow shovel and snow-melt available, if you want to use it. The snow-melt is in the utility closet. The key is up above the closet door on a little hook.
